This mare is by the Frame Sabino stallion Magic Man's Color Prints, and out of a Tobiano mare Pacific Painted Evening,
both are by national grand champion stallions well known for halter, color, and driving top ten wins.
This is a very elegant mare with a beautiful feminine head and long neck. Dancer has an unusual pattern of white distributed throughout her coat. Neither sire nor dam are roans or gray, and Dancer tests sabino (sb1) negative. We believe she is carrying another type of sabino gene that we are unable to test for at this time. Dancer has tested positive for the Tobiano gene, and is homozygous for black (she can never produce a red foal no matter what stallion she is bred to). She has tested negative for the Frame (LWO) and the Sabino (sb1) gene.

Easter is one of only two foals registered to her sire Smithdeals Rowdy Medicine Man, who is a Rowdy decedent, and a striking Tovero stallion with similar markings to Easter. She is also the grand daughter of NFC Rowdys Top News, a 1990 AMHA National Champion; and Smithdeals Apache Kids Scout, an 1992 AMHA National Top Ten Stallion.
Her great grandsire NFCS Apache Kid was a AMHA 1988 National Grand Champion and a 1990 National and Grand Champion Stallion. Her great grandsire on her dam's side is Concho Gadabout, a 11 time AMHA National Champion and 13 time Reserve National Champion. Both sire and dam are pintos that have a large number of pintos in their pedigree.

This mare has an impressive pedigree and lots of color! Rowdy Lass is a AMHA National Grand Champion Shadow Oaks Top Banana daughter, and a Rowdy granddaughter. In addition to her bald face, Rowdy Lass has a number of white patches on her belly. She also has lacing (cob webbing) all over her back. Though she carries the cream gene, she does not show it and remains are rich dark black.

Feather is a replica of her sire's color and pattern. Feather's sire,
Magic Mans Bows and Arrow, is a multiple AMHR National top ten winner in
halter, and in 1998 was in the top ten at the AMHA Central Regional
Championship as a yearling. A double bred LTD Magic Mans daughter, her
grandsire, LTDs Magic Man, has won numerous awards in AMHA, AMHR, and
PTHA National shows in halter, multi-color stallion, and driving. In
2000 Magic Man was the AMHA National Champion in three driving classes.
Feather's grand dam, Southview Mi Charm, is the dam of one of our
favorite mares, Sheza LTDS Lucky Charm. Mi Charm is a granddaughter of
Flying W Farms Wardance and Rhotens Little Dandy.
Feather has been tested and carries both the Frame (LWO), and the Sabino
